Our Active Travel Impacts and Initiatives Report 2024 to 2025

Cuddly hedgehogs, Santa on a bike and men on the roof… all in a day’s work here at Brightwayz and all play a part in our latest active travel impact and initiatives report.

‘You do so many different things’ is a common comment about our activities at Brightwayz - from local themed walks to school, our cycle-re-cycle programme to our active travel campaign resources and Green Promo range which help sustain our work to promote active travel. 

We are lucky to have a great staff team - each with their own specialities - so whilst it looks complex, WE all know what we are doing!

Our ethical and environmental responsibility includes our recent installation of solar panels which now power our new electric van  - thus the men on the roof! 

Products such as our Reflective Shop packs which enable pupils to set up and sell reflectors at school are an innovative approach to getting across the ‘be bright be seen’ message.

And dressing up as Santa on a bike for a local event, or offering our high vis hedgehogs and teddies in our product range are just some examples of how we bring in some fun and increase engagement for active travel campaigns.
