Play Street Pack with Cone Signs

Description
Active travel can start on your own street. Make it easy and safe for children to learn to cycle and scoot or simply enjoy playing in their own neighbourhood by setting up play street sessions. This pack provides the information and resources to help you get started, including the legal signage you need to close your street.
Two legally compliant ‘Road Closed’ rigid signs which fit over traffic cones (cones not supplied). These signs each require two 70cm traffic cones to secure them. The back of each sign has two strong fabric hoops which easily slip over the cones. Size of signs: 1050mm x 750mm. Class 1 reflective on black recycled plastic. Rigid signs like this are required in some local authority areas, depending on local policy. (Some local authority areas allow use of compliant banner signs instead which are lower cost and easier to store away).
One ‘Road Open to Play’ green engagement sign to promote the purpose and benefits of your play street. Size of sign: 600mm x 450mm. Green and white correx board (weatherproof). Can be secured to railings etc through the four corner holes. Please note – new design of sign (not shown) features child playing ball from wheelchair instead of child playing football.

Please note: the four 70cm traffic cones required are NOT provided. These can be purchased separately from local suppliers, or ask your local council.
