Play Street Pack

Playing out, active travel and community building can start on your own street. Make it easy and safe for children to learn to cycle and scoot or simply enjoy playing in their own neighbourhood by setting up play street sessions. This pack provides the information and resources to help you get started.

Pack contains:

• Play streets organiser pack including manual.
• 4 x high vis printed ‘playing out’ waistcoats for adult stewards.
• 4 x large wheelie bin stickers.
• 2 x whistles on lanyards with steward info cards.
• 1 x Long skipping rope (5.5 m/18ft).
• 4 x packs of 4 pavement chalks.
• Large cotton bag with ‘playing out’ design containing all other pack contents.

Playing Out CIC was our partner for several years and they supported the growth of resident-led play streets for 17 years until March 2026.
